The Inamori Foundation has honored San Diego by holding the Kyoto PrizeSymposium here. San Diego State University is grateful for this opportunity to recognize the extraordinary contributions of the Kyoto Prize Laureates, whose lifetime achievements have changed our world. What makes our support of this event even more meaningful is a common mission that SDSU shares with the Kyoto Prize and our partners, University of San Diego and University of California, San Diego.

We all exist to promote human growth and development through a balanced and holistic philosophy that spans cultures. We are proud to join in this remarkable celebration of global understanding.
